Statistics report that obesity is still on the rise and that as a nation, Britain's women are the fattest in Europe. We have, at our fingertips, more information about weight and how to lose it, than we have ever had before, yet the figures still rise as men, women and children continue to struggle with the battle of the bulge. Something is clearly very wrong and I'm sure that a variety of experts all have a valid opinion as to why this is the case. But we need a solution.
At Newport Complementary Health Clinic, I've been helping clients address their weight issues for 20 years and it would be fair to say that there have been many successes during that time. I have always worked with the 'whole person', taking into account everything about that person's life, which has allowed me to work with them in individual sessions, to tackle the issues with their weight. While this approach has proved successful in the clinic, I have more recently felt that I needed to offer a wider variety of help to a number of my weight loss clients. Successful weight loss goes beyond the need to just diet and exercise. Our bodies have become more complex as we have developed and it is now necessary to look beyond these 2 big factors. Feedback from clients tells me that they need regular support and encouragement and a structured approach to weight loss.
So with this in mind, I have created 'The Slim and Grin Programme', soon to be launched at the clinic. The programme will consist of 12 sessions, payable in advance, where I use a variety of therapies and techniques, covering all aspects of weight loss. Life Coaching will be used to identify the main issues preventing weight loss and the goals and actions needed to achieve them. Kinesiology will address health issues and nutritional deficiencies that show to be a highly significant cause of being overweight. Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Hypnotherapy and Emotional Freedom Techniques will allow you to make the rapid changes you need and make your goals and dreams of being slimmer and healthier, a reality.
The 12 session programme will offer you structure but with the flexibility that each of you as individuals need. The Slim and Grin Programme will motivate and inspire you to be all that you want to be.
